The following message came to us, (the Chapter), from our sponsoring
dealer after their recent Open House event at which many of our Chapter members volunteered time to help out with parking,
set up and clean up, and adding additional "staff" inside the store that day. For those of
you who may not know it, Tia Suiter is the wife of our sponsoring dealer's owner, Danny Suiter, so this commendation for our efforts
that day, comes straight from the TOP!

Welcome to our Chapter
We would like to
invite you to become a part of the Tuckessee Chapter, of the Harley Owners Group, and to take part in the many great activities
scheduled each riding season. (Events include an annual picnic, dinner rides, monthly meetings, fun rides, pick-up rides,
and state rallies, just to name a few)
Our monthly Chapter meetings are usually the first Saturday of the month at 6:30
PM at the building behind Appleton's Harley-Davidson dealership.
What is H.O.G.?
The Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) is dedicated to the
use and enjoyment of Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The mission of H.O.G. is to:
Ride and Have Fun Safely.
Preamble (From the Chapter Handbook)
The Harley Owners Group® (H.O.G.) is an organization founded and sponsored by Harley-Davidson® Motor
Company. The group was established to offer motorcycling benefits and services to Harley-Davidson enthusiasts throughout the
world, and to develop a close relationship between the Harley-Davidson rider, the Harley-Davidson dealer and Harley-Davidson
Motor Company.
The opportunity to start an independent chapter affiliated with the Harley Owners Group is offered to
bring members together for the common interest of promoting motorcycling activities. The goal of each chapter is to generate
an increased level of enthusiasm for riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The (H.O.G.) Chapter, (is) a family-oriented and
a nonpolitical organization.
Article I – Purpose
- The purpose of the local chapter (is) to promote responsible motorcycling activities for Harley Owners
Group members by conducting chapter activities and encouraging participation in other H.O.G. events.
- Chapter activities and operations (are) conducted in a manner consistent with a family-oriented, nonpolitical
philosophy.
So, bring your wife, bring your kids, heck, bring your Mother-in-Law
(if you want to!), and come join in the FUN!

The next major event coming our way is the TN. State HOG Rally in Cookeville, TN.
May 29th thru June 2nd. If you haven't pre-registered for the rally, don't sweat it! You don't have to miss out! Just come
on up and register on-site and you can still enjoy all the activities of the rally. For more information about the rally,

This coming Friday night, our sponsoring dealer, Appleton's Harley-Davidson, is sponsoring
a "team" for the annual "Walk for Life" event to raise money for cancer research and treatment. It's an all night event, starting
at 6PM Friday, May 18th, and running until Saturday morning. They need voluteers to walk around the track for a few hours,
a few miles, or even just a few minutes. Come on out and support this event it's for a good cause. For more details and to
volunteer your feet for this, talk to Tia at the shop.
This coming Saturday, May 19th, the Chapter is riding to Lambert's restaurant in Sikeston,
MO. for lunch. Check the Chapter Calendar for all the details.
