                                    The 50/50 Rule

                                    This "rule" applies to ALL Chapter RIDES.

                                    The "rule" is simple;
                                    If there is a prediction of precipitation of MORE than 50% the ride is cancelled.
                                    If the temperature is below 50 degrees at ride time, the ride
                                    is cancelled. (The only exception to this rule is the annual Polar Bear Ride which takes place regardless of temperature,
                                    as long as the roads are clear of ice/snow.)

                                    No need to wait for someone to tell you the ride is cancelled for these reasons.
                                    Just check the weather and if either of these 50/50 Rules come into effect, the ride is cancelled.

                                    (Individual member rides listed on the "Member's Pick Up Rides" page of this site, may
                                    have different criteria, check with the member leading that ride for more info.)
